The hall is available for rent to any property
owner within the township. Please check availability on the
township www calendar or contact the township clerk, see directory
for numbers. A nominal fee and deposit is charged. Reference the
Hall Rental Agreement in Download Documents section.

Rubbish Collection- Change of Services

Waste Management has serviced
Hamilton Township for the past five years. The current contract
expires on March 31, 2013. The Hamilton Township Board accepted bids
and as a result, Republic Services has been awarded a 5 year
contract starting April 1, 2013. The new contract offers
additional services and a price reduction over the next five years.
The current annual contract price is $118.90 plus a fuel recovery
charge over $3.50 per gallon. The new contract price is $114.42 plus
a fuel recovery charge over $4.10. Also, included in this price is a
monthly collection (drop) of recycle items and an annual tire
collection (drop).
Waste Management will be retrieving their green 96 gallon totes from
each property immediately after the last rubbish collection of
March. The totes are not owned by the property owners, they belong
to Waste Management. Republic blue totes (96 gallon) will be
distributed to all properties listed on the Rubbish Assessment Role
in the last two weeks of March 2013.
Tuesday will continue to be rubbish collection day for Hamilton
Township. Collection will occur on Wednesday whenever a holiday
falls on Tuesday.
One additional bulk item will be accepted per week in addition to
the tote. A specific list of items will be provided.
Spring and Fall, yard waste will be picked up. Brush must be
bundled, no longer than 4 feet & 2” in diameter, less than 50
pounds, paper bags not plastic. A schedule will be posted on
hamiltontwp.us and the Hamilton
Township hall bulletin board.
Recycle
materials will be accepted at the twp hall anytime, 24 - 7. Cardboard, paper,
plastic, glass are some of the items, a full list of items accepted
and those not accepted will be provided.
The first Saturday in October, between hours 9am – 3pm, light truck
and passenger tires will be accepted. Wheels for these type tires
will also be accepted.
